Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington Jr. Amerykański aktor filmowy.
Studiował dziennikarstwo w Fordham University w Bronx, aktorstwo w American Conservatory Theatre w San Francisco. Na ekranie debiutował w 1981 roku. Zdobył popularność odtwarzając w serialu telewizyjnym St. Elsewhere (1982–1988) rolę doktora Chandlera. Zdobywca Oscara oraz Złotego Globu za rolę drugoplanową w filmie Malcolm X (1992, reż. S. Lee). Otrzymał nagrodę Srebrnego Niedźwiedzia za rolę w filmie Filadelfia (1993, reż. J. Demme, występ u boku Toma Hanksa)
